Organic Premium Oolong Tea Thailand Chin Shin No.17

In the most northern part of Thailand the Thai Tea Suwirun is the tea garden where our premium organic oolong tea grows. The region Chiang Rai is known as the crown of the north and is the gate to the golden triangle, where the borderlines of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar come together. The scenery of rugged rocks, thick rainforest as well as teak and pine tree forrest from the optimal conditions for a special, versatile tea like the oolong.

The meaning of oolong is “black snake“ or “black dragon“. At first the leaves of the oolong tea wilt for a while. The following fermentation gets stoped at specific point to strike the golden mean between fully ferment black tea and not ferment green tea.

The stunning golden colour of this half-fermented organic oolong is also a good description for the taste. The expectations of a tea enthusiast are high and with this premium oolong they will get satisfied by a soft floral and fruity flavor. The aftertaste of a discreet sweetness rounds off the whole experience.
